Introduction to “Hong Kong Pavilion”
The 18th Eco Expo International, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Messe Frankfurt, will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo from 26 to 29 October (Thursday to Sunday) with the theme “Taking the Leap towards Carbon Neutrality”. The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) continues to set up the “Hong Kong Pavilion” to support the development of Hong Kong’s environmental industry and to showcase the technologies, services and products of local environmental enterprises and organisations to the world.
This year, a total of 22 companies and organisations participated in the Hong Kong Pavilion. Exhibitors specialised in various areas, including technology, products, engineering services, consultancy services, environmental education, recycling promotion, government funding and import and export trade of plastic materials. The booths will showcase a wide range of exhibits in air quality, green architecture, energy efficiency, testing, analysis and certification, water treatment and water quality management, green transport, waste management, environmental research, green finance, environmental, ESG consultancy services and noise pollution prevention.
The “Hong Kong Pavilion” has a dedicated communal area where exhibitors can connect with industry professionals through seminars, talks and exchange sessions to explore cooperation opportunities, and to enable the public to gain a deeper understanding of Hong Kong's environmental industry. This year, the “Hong Kong Pavilion” will continue to have online virtual booths to help exhibitors promote their business. In addition, the exhibitors will display their products on HKTDC’s online platform, where buyers from all over the world can search for relevant products online, creating business opportunities for the industry.
